The renovation of an apartment located in an old seaside tourist village on the waterfront of Termoli represents a project that harmonizes traditional Mediterranean style with contemporary design. The intervention aims to enhance brightness and spaciousness through the use of materials and design solutions that create visual continuity while maintaining a strong connection with local historical roots. The use of light resin for the floors and bathroom surfaces is a key element of the project. This material, with its homogeneous and modern finish, amplifies the sense of spaciousness in the rooms. The white walls, combined with built-in furniture, evoke traditional Mediterranean architecture, creating a refined balance between tradition and innovation. To meet the functional needs of the clients, numerous integrated storage spaces have been created, avoiding the use of traditional furniture. These minimal solutions free up space, promoting a tidy atmosphere. Light wood details and smooth surfaces introduce natural tones, in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The living room, conceived as an open space that merges with the kitchen, benefits from large panoramic windows that flood the space with natural light and offer a view of the Adriatic Sea. The kitchen, with resin countertops and integrated appliances, balances functionality and aesthetics with clean lines and an essential design. In the bathrooms, light resin covers floors and walls, giving a uniform and modern appearance. The built-in showers and stone sinks recall the furnishings of traditional Molisan homes, adding a touch of authenticity. The bedrooms, decorated with light fabrics and neutral color palettes, offer a serene and tranquil refuge. This renovation represents a fusion of modernity and tradition, enhancing Mediterranean architecture with contemporary living solutions. The harmonious integration of traditional and modern elements ensures optimal comfort and efficient use of spaces while respecting the cultural and historical roots of Termoli.
